New Construction Deficiency Inspections
Many people feel that if they are buying a new house
or apartment, their new home will be in perfect condition, or that
because the builder has enrolled in a warranty program, there is
no need for a home inspection. In fact, nothing could be further
from the truth.
Usually, the buyer goes on a "deficiency walkthrough" with
the builder's / developer's representative. Having an independent
third-party inspector accompany you will ensure a more thorough,
unbiased inspection.

Buyer Pre-Occupancy Inspections
RMC INSIGHT is the first home inspection company to provide a full
deficiency inspection program for buyers. We will take the time
to scrutinize your new home in detail with a trained eye and compile
a comprehensive list of deficiencies and patent defects for the
builder to complete or repair.
Final Inspections
As a follow-up to your pre-occupancy inspection and prior to
your sale completion, we will do a final inspection to confirm
that repairs have been satisfactorily completed. Year-end Warranty Inspections
Under your New Home Warranty program, the builder is required
to repair any defects in workmanship and materials which show
up during the first year of occupancy. Under the provisions
of the warranty, a list of defects must be submitted to the
builder 9-12 months after the owners' possession date. RMC
INSIGHT will provide you with a comprehensive list to present
to your builder. |
