Pre-Purchase Inspections

An RMC INSIGHT home inspection enables buyers to make a confident, informed purchase decision. No house is perfect. If an inspector finds some faults in your new home it doesn't necessarily mean that you shouldn't buy it, only that you'll know in advance what repairs to anticipate.

If significant unexpected problems are revealed during theinspection process, you have the following options:

  1. Ask the vendor to make the repairs.
  2. Negotiate a reduced price.
  3. Budget your own finances to accommodate the added expenses.
  4. Look for another house.

To ensure these options however, you must make your Offer-to-Purchase
SUBJECT TO A SATISFACTORY HOME INSPECTION.

Pre-Listing Inspections

Knowing the true condition of a home can help sellers set a realistic selling price. Information is provided on needed repairs and maintenance, which if completed, will make the house more saleable. Pre-listing inspections are particularly useful where the seller has not actually lived in the house, such as owners of rental properties, trustees , or a lender listing a property after foreclosure.

Pre-Renovation Inspections

Our detailed full condition report enables homeowners to prioritize repairs and can help determine the feasibility of renovations or additions.

RMC INSIGHT designed the comprehensive and user-friendly "Home Insights" Reporting System. Reports are custom-designed to feature detailed descriptions of all the critical structural, mechanical and functional aspects of a residential property.
Our reports comply with CAHPI(BC) Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics and are completed on site and delivered at the end of the inspection.
